We are located in Duncannon, Pennsylvania and currently provide tech support services to home users and small businesses in the Perry, Dauphin, and Cumberland County areas in Central Pennsylvania.


When is HomeFront Cyber Support And Security LLC open?

Our hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturdays by appointment. We also offer emergency services for small businesses and online support options for all customers.


Does HomeFront Cyber Support And Security LLC offer onsite services to home users?

Yes we will travel to a home or small business location to provide support. Our techs have previous IT experience in business network administration and understand that most small businesses will require onsite service. However, it is more affordable to have HomeFront Cyber provide support services inhouse at our shop.


Why is it more affordable for HomeFront Cyber inhouse services at the shop?

Some computer issues require scans and installations that take time but the tech is not actually doing anything during the scan or installation. That idle time is not charged to the customer if service is done at the shop. If service is done onsite at a customer location, we charge for total hours spent onsite at that location.


Can every problem be fixed by phone or via online chat?

Unfortunately no not every problem can be resolved via phone or chat. If during a phone or chat session we determine onsite or inhouse services are required, we will waive the phone or chat fee.

How accurate are the estimates you provide?

Our estimates are accurate based on the information we have about the device or software issue. However, there may be situations where other issues are discovered during a service call that could change the total on an estimate. If that happens we will contact a customer before proceeding.

Will HomeFront Cyber Techs be able to solve my problem or answer my questions?

Yes we will do everything we can to resolve problems for customers. If we encounter a problem that falls outside of our support services, we can work with other vendors to make sure our customers are not left without a solution.


How long will it take to resolve my problem?

That depends on the issue and severity of the problem. Some issues can be resolved in less than a half hour, while the worst malware infections can take as long as 4 hours or more to complete.

We support all products that manufacture computers, consumer technology devices, computer-related peripherals, and software. We can provide limited hardware support replacement services that includes hard drive, fan, and power supply replacement. We will work with other vendors to provide additional hardware support.

We provide support for virus/spyware/malware removal, operating system and software installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting, internet connection issues, home networking, printer and device issues, general computer errors and problems for Windows and MAC, Email issues, technical questions, guidance, best practices, and more.


What does HomeFront Cyber recommend for the best protection against virus and malware infections?

We recommend a main antivirus application in addition to anti-malware software and browser plugins or extensions plus best practices for home users and small business.


I use Mac OS. Do I have to worry about Virus and Malware issues?

Yes, although Mac OS is more secure than Windows, there have been malware that has affected the Mac and we can help with an affordable solution for the best MAC OS protection.

We can also recommend the best managed security products for a small business network and help to develop best practices for users on a company network.


Does HomeFront Cyber run network cables for customers?

No but we work with an excellent company for all cable and electric needs for customers.
